DJ Ranz participated in a tournament for this at a Nintendo Exhibit at Aventura Mall one day and ended up winning 2nd place.

Upon finishing his first battle, he had taken an interest to the video game and especially its theme song, much so that he has produced his on interpretation of it.

The original version contained vocals from Japanese/Brazilian Singer Eliana Silva. Unfortunately, DJ Ranz was unable to get my hands on the acapella (which was mainly vocalisations, no lyrics), so he programmed one of the instruments to do the part she normally does.
