Intricate Records is proud to announce the forthcoming release of a brand new EP by the Austrian producer Blend; the record will feature three tracks: «Illusion», «People Talk About The Weather» and «Vanish».

Only seventeen years of age, Thomas already has a number of musical achievements in his biography: original productions in catalogs of various prominent labels, including Silk Music, Bomba Records and Portrait Digital, plus systematic support in radio shows and DJ sets by Above & Beyond, Jaytech, Solarstone and Richard Durand. For the young and promising Blend, this new EP is a debut release on Intricate Records, therefore his track selection has been particularly careful. As a result, the final choice is many-sided and very precisely reflects the current musical fondness of the author. The opening track, entitled «Illusion», despite its strong slope into progressive sound, is very dancefloor-friendly and vivid, with a jumpy beat, funk-loaded bass lines and fervent tones. «Vanish», in contrary, leads the listener away in another direction. Deep basses and a pleasant melody make this track simultaneously calm and fluid, that is why it is so well suitable both for warm-up hours during pre-parties and home listening pleasure. Finally, the solid bass, soft key-chords and mystical effects backed up with cosmic-styled leads from the distant 80s turn the third track, «People Talk About The Weather», into a long-term musical journey, during which you wish to dream only about beautiful and unearthly things.
