In 2006, Macedonian programmer Marjan Georgiev created TrancePodium, one of the largest and leading online Trance communities on the internet & the planet. This community would go on to spread news in the Trance World, as well as serve as a hub for up-and-coming DJ/producers and a database for radioshow episodes.

DJ Ranz has regularly collaborated with Trance Podium on various projects, some of which included contributing mixes and productions for their podcast, anniversaries and other events.

For this mix, DJ Ranz showcases work contributed by many artists on the site over the years. A lot of the records featured here have even been played in sets by some of EDM's most popular heavyweights, some of which include Tiesto, Ferry Corsten and Armin van Buuren.

This mix is also dedicated to artist & regular contributor, Adam Berger, alias TheFrown, who sadly passed away in 2017.
