He was fascinated by how Jpop (as it is commonly known) blended electronic and live elements. Having DJed in the trance scene for a long time, he also wanted to incorporate Jpop in his sets as well.

However, it was VERY rare that Jpop labels released official remixes of their artists’ work. Having this in mind, DJ Amaya took it upon himself to translate Japanese and Korean pop hits into Vocal Trance and House anthems.
