i just wanted to ask, what would be the best software to use in producing a track? ive had some ideas already but have been problems on putting the tunes into ableton so just wanna know if there are other softwares which are easier to use.. thanks!

ableton is like the original version of the bible.. not many ppl understand it :)

i recommend: Propellarhead Reason, Fruity Loops, Cubase, etc. also even Sony ACID Pro. :)

Ableton is complicated yes, but my god it's an amazing program. If I hadn't bought FL, i'd be using that for sure.

I use Garageband & Soundtrack Pro for Mac and MAGIX MUSIC MAKER for PC.

With these programs you can be really simple or really complicated.
Now known as Randy Derricott. I may sometimes use the DJ Ranz alias for certain projects though.
