Ableton Live can be used as either a DJ tool, or production one for the studio. Though it is pretty complex, when I purchased my M Audio Axiom 49, I got a copy of the lite version, and still have problems getting my head round it. lol

I use it for mixing together all my sets. It's great for beatmatching. I would personally recommend it as it's great for pre-recorded sets too.

One thing that is sometimes annoying is hearing songs with vocals that are slower than the average tempo of your overall mix. eg. cerf, mitiska & jaren - Light The Skies is quite slow (around 130) and in a mix with other trance tunes of about 136 BPM, the vocals become more digitalised because the samples are being forced to be closer together.

anyways worth it :D
