What can i say about core trance & progressive DJs going down completely, while dubstep/electro folks taking the lead? That is world nowadays.

This votation only shoes the most popular DJ, not the best one... Hardwell is good, but more than Armin? Armin's tours have more than 30 dates and the I Am Hardwell tour 11...

I'm very happy that we're not paying so much attention about the DJ Mag poll here on the forums since we know it's a joke for years now. The only good thing about this poll is Tiësto's response.

I am humbled and so honored to receive the inaugural DJ Mag "Top 100 Djs Legend Award." I am extremely grateful for all of my fans and their continued support over the years. As a thank you, I want to share a brand new track called "iTrance" with you. #url-removed

So many more exciting things to come! I can't wait to share it with all of you!

Not really sure if we should consider this track as trance, but it is definitely a great track and unlike his recent electro house productions.

I have a feeling that Armin will never reach the first place again, now that he "gave" it to Hardwell. That pole is indeed a very big joke.

I am a bit surprised that Hardwell won it.

Even more gutted that Ferry Corsten isn't anywhere near the Top 20....
Now known as Randy Derricott. I may sometimes use the DJ Ranz alias for certain projects though.

With lack of comments, I even forgot this is going on. Really surprising how many of our known names have gotten lower positions. Hoping they will return for more trance sounds again!

I think the progressive guys don't give a rat ass about this poll. I doubt the drop in the rankings by some of the former trance djs/producers would make much of a difference in a positive way.

06. Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike (up 32)
08. Steve Aoki (up 7)
38. Steve Angello (up 19)

And from what I've heard those don't even mix live. So how can they be in a DJ list and even high in it?

What can I say about this list, trance is going down again, shit is going up. But even then, I mean, it matters of course which genre you like and with more mainstream voters, it's normal the most commercial genres go up, but even if you think of the voters who voted for trance DJs, Dash Berlin is the 2nd most popular trance DJ in it. What does that say?

Congratulations on Hardwell, but he probably knows himself as well, that he's not the best DJ of the world. He will never be better than Tiësto or Armin van Buuren, the ones that brought him where he is. And he knows that as well of course.

i'm not surprised Hardwell won. Do I agree that he should be #1? Hell no! But DJ Mag poll is all about popularity. Also, who the fuck are Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike?! How do they deserve the #6 spot?! Do people even listen to them? :p I'm also really surprised Dash Berlin got #10 out of ALL those djs.

Martin Garrix got the 40 spot only because of Animals! How ridiculous is that?! It's sad that the trance artists are going down, and so many shitty djs are going up. :(
