HELP!!! (Trance Dilemma) -
27 June 2012, at 13:09
Glasgow is the place to be in September for Trance. Some massive nights and I can't wait.

Problem is a dilemma I have. 2 nights on the same night.

29-09-2012: Inside Out pres. Subculture @ Arches, Glasgow
John O’Callaghan, Super8 & Tab, Orjan Nilsen, Will Atkinson, Neal Scarborough, Sneijder, Thomas Bronzwaer & Aaron Cullen

29-09-2012: Colours pres. Paul van Dyk - Evolution Album Launch Party @ O2 Academy, Glasgow
Paul van Dyk, Giuseppe Ottaviani, Mallorca Lee, David Forbes, David McKnight

Inside Out at the Arches wins hands down for me but my mate is playing at the Paul van Dyk gig.

What would everyone else do in my shoes?
19/12: Eddie Halliwell, Alex Di Stefano, Jordon Suckley & Marcel Woods @ Colours pres. Bosh, Glasgow
26/12: Solarstone, Gai Barone, Giuseppe Ottaviani & Sneijder @ Colours Winter Party, Glasgow
05/02: DS9

Is there any way you could listen to your mate's set and then go to Inside Out? Are they close enough? If so, I'm sure you'll be able to pull it off, no matter who's playing at his time there, I think it's worth missing it while your friend is playing.

What Semir said, don't know how famous your mate is, but I expect him to play somewhere at the beginning. Maybe after you can go to that awesome party at the Arches.

If that's not possible, it depends on how close you are with this mate.

The venues are not too far away from each other, prob about 5 min walk or so and the tickets are really reasonable. £10 for IO & £12 for PvD. So that might actually be a possibility. Here is me thinking I need to choose.

Not sure what the set times are just now so will see what they are closer to the time.

He has asked me to go and see him a few times most recently when he played at Carl Cox’s gig. Playing with Heatbeat in a few weeks so going to try and make that.

I don’t understand why both promoters arranged their nights on the same date as majority would have normally went to both. Any excuse :)

Inside Out just seems massive and too big to miss. It’s been a while since I have seen Orjan and never seen Super8 & Tab or Neal Scarborough so excited for that.

Always helpful as ever guys. Will keep you posted as Glasgow is buzzing in September. Ferry is back too
