Not so great news at all, but I totally understand him...
Not a single day went by without trance. Trance is a lifestyle. I breathe trance. Even when I'm not feeling quite well, it's the music which gets me back on track. It has a inevitable positive vibe with a large risk to addiction!

Yes, was really shocked when he emailed me the news. Nothing but respect for his decision, but damn I will miss him. Was nice of him to tell it to me personally and to thank me for all the support I gave him. Thank god I bought tickets for all 4 Menno Solos in January and will definately go in September as well. Plenty of moments to say goodbye to him.

Menno De Jong's tour has been affected by the global COVID-19 outbreak.

My dear fan or friend,
After a month of hectic touring in Asia and Australia under increasingly difficult circumstances I have had plenty of time to think about my Farewell Tour cut short. At this point it's hard to say when and where music events will be able to take place again and we are all probably more focused on keeping ourselves and our loved ones safe..
I will do my best to make up the shows missed due to COVID-19 at some point in the near future, before retiring from DJ-ing. Where and when exactly my last gig will be is hard to say right now due to the worldwide pandemic, but at this point I'm hoping the big show on September 12th this year can take place in a safe way. Where exactly we say goodbye at the end of the Farewell Tour is a matter for the future, but I hope to see you somewhere along the way..

Good call from Menno. I feel so sorry for him that his whole Farewell Tour is falling apart.
I kinda hope his show on the 12th will be postponed as well so it will still be his very last performance.
