Hey everybody. Newbie to the site. Thank God I found it. I'm a big trance fan and am very inspired to start a radio station here in South Florida, since there is none. I have been dreaming of it since I was in high school. I feel like its impossible but hey it's worth a try. I would like to be able to have a huge radio station and set up huge trance events here and all over the world. When I found this site and read Anything is Possible
by John 00 Fleming, i figured it was a sign. I just need some advice on how i could be able to start a radio station?

What kind of radio station do you plan to start, local or online?
I'm not much familiar with U.S. laws, so hopefully other members could give you some advice regarding that.

hello and Welcome to the site!
Im not sure on what needs to be done in its entirity, but there are some licences you will need for a real radio station.
a good couple of places to start with are the FCC, and This Site
That should get you enough to get an idea on everything.

well there used to be 93.1 which was quality.. then they decided they needed yet another hip-hop stration... =(
same thing happened to their sister staion here in Orlando 95.3 It was changed to hip-hop as well.

the owner of 93.1 also owned 94.9 rock zeta, but they got shut down for other reasons. now 93.1 is a rock station. I used to listen to party 93.1 all the time 
. that was the last electronic station we had down here in South Florida, and I think it's time for another one that's here to stay.
