I didn't vote this year and this is mainly because I don't really listen to trance that much at the moment.

I am just looking at the amount of replies to this thread which stands at 11 and last year we had around 60 replies.

Is this a reflection that this years vote was less of a community vote and more of a wider internet vote?

We actually had nearly twice as much community votes as last year, and over 3 times the global votes.
The response was huge this year, both global and member-wise.

Yes, Marjan is right. And last year I think half of the replies were coming from me posting which artist had tweeted or FB-ed about it, which is too much to say this time. At least half of the artists mentionned has tweeted about it, Armin being one of the first again
