Final Fantasy VII -
17 September 2010, at 02:37
So for the past few weeks ive been playing the game Final Fantasy VII, anyone ever play that one?

My Second favorite Final Fantasy to this day, the first one beingthe one that comes after this one Final Fantasy VIII. I first played this in 2000 and haven't played this since 2003, and now i got it on the PS3 network for $9.99, where a original copy wouldve been mad expensive  :/. I'm currently on disc 3, about to fight the final boss.  :D

I've got an original copy, and I freaking LOVE this game!! :<3: I've gotten past Safer Sephiroth rather easily, due to my tendency to level up way more than what is necessary. I've still yet to defeat both Emerald Weapon and Ruby Weapon, though.

Who are you using in your party, mate? What's the leveling for your party, materia/skills/magic/etc., and equipment?

Thats what i did, headed straight for the final battles, what really surprised me was how i didnt really need the Knights of the round summon or Clouds Omnislash, i mean i wanted to get them but i didnt really feel like spending hours breeding chocobos and fighting in that battle arena, so i just winged it, i did get the ultimate weapons though

My party consisted of Cloud, because he was my strongest player, especially with the slash all, Barret, i always used him from the beginning and the only one in my party that had the highest limit break and Yuffie, because she was fun to have around and she was my healer. Each of them were around level 65 i think and they had the following materias: double cut, slash all, ultima, comet, the important healing spells, Bahamut Zero and a shitload of HP Plus/MP Plus materia, as well as power wrists and such

Nice. Getting your main party characters' Lv. 4 Limits is definitely something that should happen (not necessary for Safer Sephiroth, but you'll definitely want them for the stronger Weapons), especially with Cloud and Yuffie. This is because their final Limit attacks contain a great number of attacks; Cid also fits into this category. Tifa is also a good choice, since all of her Limits are used simultaneously. Barret's pretty useful for flying enemies, though, as is Vincent.

The Knights of the Round summon is definitely not needed (hell, I still don't have it, either). Having a good amount of summons is always good, though; Bahamut ZERO is definitely one of the best ones you'll find. Wall spells are definitely helpful, along with your curative spells of course. Be sure to always cure after Sephiroth uses Super Nova, since it always brings your HP down to a minimum. If he decides to go on a Super Nova binge (like he did the first time I fought him), consider yourself both damn lucky and incredibly bored. :p Shadow Flare is definitely one of the more deadly things you can face; you can also obtain this with the Enemy Skill materia.

I've actually tried breeding chocobos to get the KotR summon, and it's a pain to say the least. :yell: Wow, you've managed to get me to rant about Final Fantasy. I congratulate you, mate. LOL. I'm gonna cut it short and end here.

No worrys man, not really a rant compared to the rants about Tiesto vs Armin on this site  ;) now i need to focus on beating Final Fantasy VIII, which makes 7 look like a walk on the beach, the junction system is a pain in the ass sometimes, but this time around i think i got it down  :D
