Hey everyone.
In an age where gas prices are sky rocketing and people are desiring cars that don't burn fuel quickly, a car that posed as a solution to our fuel crisis was born in Germany, the SMARTCAR. A success in its native homeland, units would later appear throughout Europe and later the world.
However, while these cars are smaller, cost less to refuel, and burn gas more slowly, it has recently been proven that they lack in the safety department. The SMARTCAR (as well as smaller, fuel-efficient cars of its kind) have bombed various crash tests as of late and the results are catastophic.
Here are some videos to prove it.

You have to remember though that these vehicle hybrids are in their early stages. Still pretty scary though.

That smart car has been out for about 10 years now, but only in europe as a city car.. basically to drive around at about 30MPH max on small city streets. Coming to america, and them putting bigger engines in them to reach max speeds of 90MPH is just ridiculous. They are death traps here. To many Stupid Ugly Vehicles and fast speeds for that car to be worthwhile.
