What did you like before you got addicted to trance?

Chill, and I'm still into that...

LEts see that was back in like 95... and it was Rap..
*shudders*

I liked pop...  I was also into boy bands *hides under anything

I liked Britney, Christina Aguilera, Destiny's Child and Madonna  Yeah, I watched MTV too much.

The only music from then that I still like is by Red Hot Chilli Peppers.

First got into electronic music back in the days of Skinny Puppy (VIVIsect VI era...) - industrial noise ambient IDM ....

happy hardcore from arond 96 onwards.... got into trance when i got my first decks in 1999

Mostly punk rock and house.  When I was growing up, trance either didn't exist or it was in it's baby stages

Parents grew me up on fleetwood mac stones and all them 50's 60's & 70's bands. I still love the shadows! Then 80's chart music roxette alana myles b52's new order etc then 90's dance before it evolved into trance and other things,snap, klf, culture beat,haddaway 2 unlimited, real mc coy,corona,livin joy amber, la bouche, n trance. Madonna bedtime story songs, mid 90's kylie - confide in me put yourself in my place. Garbage skunk anansie bjork progidy. First trance songs being to my recollection robert miles children and b.b.e. seven days in one week.

I got into the scene around 2001..  yeah I missed the good ole days of trance.. but it was rap and hip hop before.  I'm from South Carolina so I actually grew up on Country (holds head down in shame)

Classical for most of my life, then stupid pop music. (Don't worry, I was into boy bands too.)  Then I went through my Euro phase, when I thought the Vengaboys instrumentals were the coolest thing ever.  **embarrassed** Then I accidentally discovered Tiesto and that was it for me.

I used to, and still do listen to classic rock from the 60's and 70's. Blues and folk as well as some jazz and reggae. But I do love my Electronic music. 

I started listening to trance 4 years ago, and before that i listened to almost anything
But the last was rock/alternative.
Now i listen to some metal too, and i started to like a lot ebm

yeh, it could be said
well i too listen mainly to rock and metal and all their subgenres
when i get bored of listening that, i start listening to chill-out, cause it makes me relax
if i'm not in the mood of chilling, and want something to make my adrenaline rise, i listen to trance or techno
i like trance because it has the melody, warm feeling of music, something what the chill-out also has, but here you have more beats and i think its good to hear.

but now i knw trance is da full of emotion, passion n chill-out music in dis world...
trance also the unique music in dis world..bcoz da combination of da sound dat`s make people gone crazy...
