I knew you supported Ajax I would of said something to you if PSV won 1 of their games against them last season but they were both 0 - 0. You're being sarcastic about good work last season, right?

Domestically, I support Al Ahly, my local team. The most successful club in Africa and voted the African club of the century.

I also follow Real Madrid, although I can't really say I support them.

Yes, with national prices. Not that difficult when the past 100 years only 2 teams won everything. Where are the international prices? :p

Haha can't whack a bit of football banter. I did notice PSV didn't get much further but hey I'll give you that one.

You can only win the league your playing in and don't see too many people complaining that Braca or Real winter two horse race in Spain nor Man U or Chelsea in England etc I could go on all night.

Tbh I don't really care too much about the national team. Want them to win but would never lose any sleep over it. Rangers on the overhand...... :)

You can't seriously compare English and Spain league with Scotland. And it's pretty much more than just Man U and Chelsea battling for the title. You forgot Arsenal, Liverpool (who didn't show so much this season), Man City, Tottenham...

Btw I'm a huge Manchester United fan, although I'm not into football as much as you guys are. I prefer any other sport other than football :D

Defo can't compare them as we get nowhere near as much money as these leagues.

I'll give you Arsenal as they have obv won the league twice in past 10 years or so but have shown nothing recently. Spurs are trying to live the dream but even they can't keep up with the big boys and I don't think they are anywhere close to winning the league just like Man City.

Unfortunately money has ruined football and the so called big teams of the past Ajax, Rangers etc are being left behind. When a team from the Championship, League 1 in England can out pay yout wages what chance do you have. Players are also money driven and you very rarely see a player stay at a club when there is more money being offered in lower divisions.

Play in the Champions League/ Europa League every year, win trophies, play in front of 50,000 fans each week and receive £18-£25k per week or play in the 2nd or 3rd tier division infront of 20,000 fans and win nothing but collect £30k + per week?

I know what I would choose but unfortunately I am in the minority here :(

Rant over haha 8-)

Well, ofcourse Arsenal has won it a couple of times not that long ago, but Liverpool is pretty bad the last 20 years already. Not just this season. League-wise. But a team like Blackburn Rovers has won it as well 15/16 years ago. In Spain also Atlético, Valencia and Deportivo have won it in the past 15 years. In Scotland it has only been Rangers and Celtic for at least the past 25 years. But hey, don't get me wrong, I wouldn't have minded winning our league 50 times like that ;) We finally reached the 30 this year after losing it on the last day about 6 years in a row....
