We know that world #1 Armin van Buuren will be returning to Australia this June Long Weekend, but so far details have been scant. Would we be getting the whole ‘Armin Only’ experience, or would he be stripping things back for a humble club tour? ITM recently spoke to Future Entertainment’s Mark James and he was able to shed some light on the situation.




We can also expect things to remain on a large-ish scale for Armin’s 2009 tour. “It’ll be a stadium show, with some support acts,” Mark told ITM. “He won’t be doing an ‘Armin Only’ type 9-hour set, but he’ll probably be doing a four or five hour set with some very good support acts around him. He’s too big for large club shows.”

For many ITMers, last year’s ‘Armin Only’ tour made for one of the most memorable nights of the year, so anticipation levels are high for his return. “The way we interacted with the ‘Armin Only’ crew, our production crews, it was just a great show. And Armin’s a great showman too, a fantastic DJ… So it all worked really well.”




NB: Australia's winter season is between June, July and August. 

I just hope this new album is a Shivers 2 or a 76 2.  IMAGINE was ok but it could have been better.
