TEMPO GIUSTO - BLOW EP

1) Blow (Original Mix)

A truly sinister progressive-tech trancer, 'Blow' delivers the strongest punch in this diverse EP release. Based on an intriguing triplet melody, the main theme opens the track for the deep bass, accompanied by the marching percussions. The echoing vocals introduce a melodic theme that fuses with the triplet melody, and carries the spacey atmosphere to the breakdown. Subtle strings step in and gradually grow into a massive uproar from which a powerful horn blows the song into even techier, industrial ending. Big hall material from Scandinavia.

2) Escada (Original Mix) *click for sample*
The counterpart of Blow, 'Escada' is a groovier progressive trance tune with a sunnier atmosphere. Escada begins with a driving bassline, surrounded by an up-building tremolo-style guitar theme. The breakdown brings in a bright, delicate piano melody, accompanied by heavenly strings and uplifting drums. The piano lifts the song up in a joyous play with the strings and finally subsides to let the guitar carry the song to its end.

3) Blow (Evgeny Bardyuzha Remix) *click for sample*
The third track in the EP is a remix by Russia's gift to the progressive trance scene, Evgeny Bardyuzha. Starting with a more minimalistic and techy FX feel, the funky, hypnotic up 'n down bassline and dry percussions take the song to a short breakdown with the strings of the original mix and the broken vocal theme. After a pausing, uplifting rise a new, hammering melodic theme kicks in, combined with various flashes of the original mix.

4) Blow (Ima'gin Remix) *click for sample*
The Finnish producer-remixer Ima'gin presents Blow with a deeper and more magical touch, utilizing many themes of the original track. The smoothly-altered main melody builds up a hypnotic ambience with misty pads, followed by the brighter second theme and spacious vocals. The breakdown builds up with symphonic strings and deep sub-bass, laced with pearly melodies. A strong explosive rise gathers the energy for a moment, until it is released with the familiar sweeping horn of the original mix while layered melodic themes melt in with the beat.
