Now how would I go about putting that image up - there doesn't seem to be a button. You can edit the description and add the artists real name but wna change more!!!

Peace out brethren

Hey buddy!

Right now, you can only add images when you create a new entity, not when editing them.

I should fix that in the next week.

Also, I replied to the e-mail you sent me on Tuesday, not sure if you received it.

was reading in previous posts to mine before and noticed a whole host of peeps enjoying the perks of this site over others mainly to do with the accessibility and user interface. I'm not rallying them or anythin, just saying TP rocks :P

If you're asking about forum topics, use the video button. If you are asking about trancepedia releases, not yet, but soon :)

When looking at someone's profile, it shows what have they liked. That's pretty cool, but is there any possibility to seperate Artists, Labels and Tracks?

wassup again peeps!!!

one more thing that I think would be pretty cool is a track release updater. 'Featured Releases' only gives reviews on latest releases and albums but just a simple track updater with the latest tracks, in order of date released. That way, you'd have separate articles on each track, which can then be reviewed separately (but could take up a LOOOOOOOT of space with your online space) or just a basic: <name of track> as a hyperlink that leads to the record labels youtube video of that track, (usually) giving the user a teaser of what's to come, followed by the date it was released. If you want to add more, you could write what label its released on too.

It could be very minimal and not take up too much space on the homepage. Plus you could easily have it listed out the same way as you have with the 'View All' page of Recent Discussions and all you'd need to show is about 4 spaces as nothing more than 4 trance tracks come out within a week anyways.

Thoughts?

Why doesn't the Video Tag work? Whenever I try to post a video from YouTube, in the final post it's not shown...

(Design Issue instead of a Bug Issue)
Wouldn't it make more sense having the Live Sets Articles just appearing in the 'Live Sets' box on the homepage instead of having it in the box AND the Recent Forum Topics. Whenever I come on TP, as much as I'd love to see what sets have been uploaded by all the awesome uploader-ers ( :D ) all I see is one set uploaded after another and after another, limiting the more socially-interactive topics.

I'm not a moan I swear... :( do tell me if I'm just nagging on little bits!

That's only temporary. At the moment I'm re-uploading all the livesets from Tiësto from my Rapidshare account to my new Megaupload account. When I'm finished with that (will only take a few more weeks), there aren't so many livesets posted, only 1 or 2 per day I think.
And in the livesets box are only the new posted topics, not new replies or edits. Would be a shame if a discussion there is missed out.

For the radioshows I can agree with you. Most of them don't get replies/discussions and are already appearing in the Radioshows-box. An idea would maybe to have radioshows from the subforums (ASOT, CC, TCL, IRS, TATW, GDJB, etc) which are discussed a lot, still also in the Recent Discussions (cz guests have to see we're discussing them), but not the rest of the radioshows. At least not on the mainpage. If technically possible. It's probably automatically linked with the Recent Discussions on the forum, what contains ALL the topics ever made/discussed etc. and should stay like that I think.

If this is technically not possible, I would leave it as it is. Like I said, the Tiësto livesets are only temporary this high amount.

That's ok about the moving stuff across from old to new. I get that. Going a little further from what you were saying, would it be better then when talking about big events/radio shows like ASOT 500 (for example) to have the comments within the article itself as it is for the featured releases articles. So, instead of posting live sets as a forum topic, they could be posted as articles that have comments made about them on a separate page. That way, the article itself would be available in the Live Sets part and if the social side of it is then created in a forum post then that would appear in the Recent Forum Topics.

Please also reply if that sounded massively confusing :yell:
